We recently completed a major revamping project on a historic hydraulic power unit at the Department of Civil and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Pisa.
La macchina, in funzione da decenni, necessitava di un aggiornamento per rispondere agli attuali standard di efficienza e affidabilità.
A project that combines the machine’s historic value with cutting-edge technologies, for a positive impact in terms of energy savings, sustainability, and operational continuity.
Gli interventi principali
The upgrade involved replacing the fixed-displacement pump with a variable-displacement vane model, capable of dynamically adapting to the system’s needs. The result? Reduced energy losses, lower fluid temperatures, and increased overall reliability.
The intervention was carried out respecting the original dimensions, without modifying the machine’s layout: a choice that guaranteed perfect interchangeability and rapid recommissioning at the end customer’s premises.
Furthermore, revamping offers an additional benefit: the ability to more easily find spare parts in the future, extending the useful life of the system and ensuring operational continuity.
A project that confirms our commitment to combining efficiency, sustainability, and respect for customer needs.
The results
Grazie a questi interventi, la centralina oggi garantisce:
Greater energy efficiency with reduced losses.
Lower fluid overheating and reduction of the thermal load on the exchanger.
